Cleaning roller shutters does not have to be a difficult and tedious task. In this article, we would like to show you step by step how to clean roller shutters with a magnetic cleaner?
What is Clean Blind?
The device consists of two parts (a handle and a slider) with microfiber covers that are placed on the roller blind simultaneously from the inside and outside.
Now we will show you step by step how to easily clean external roller shutters.
Prepare a container with warm water. Add a mild detergent (e.g. washing up liquid) to the prepared water at 30 ° C. Tip: A few drops are enough to avoid too much foam.
Now we can immerse the entire Clean Blind washer in water. Tip: Do not remove the cover. It is very important that the device is really wet before starting work.
How to install Clean Blind on a roller shutter?
Lower the roller blind approx. 30 cm from the bottom rail to insert the slide from the bottom. At the same time, but the handle on the other side of the blind so that both elements are drawn vertically thanks to strong magnets. Note: The lower part of the roller shutter (strip) may have additional metal reinforcements. Therefore, move the slide up a few centimeters.
After installing Clean Blind on the roller shutter, lower the external roller shutters.
With a slight upward motion, move the Clean Blind to the top of the louver keeping the vertical position. Turn the device halfway to the top left corner. We start the washing process from the top of the roller shutter.
Important: This movement must not be too abrupt. The transition from vertical to horizontal should be smooth. During the washing process, the roller shutter cleaning device should be kept in a horizontal position.
Now we finally start cleaning.
Clean the roller blind with a gentle movement from left to right and back along the slats. Gradually move the Clean Blind down.
When you are done, raise the blind a few centimeters so that you can easily remove the slider. If the blinds are very dirty, repeat the entire washing process.
Done!
After cleaning, it is best to wash the covers in a washing machine at 30 ° C and lower the blinds until they are completely dry.
